The brands we list, and where each one builds
A brand name says less about a piece than where it was built and who backs the warranty. These guides take eleven of the makers we list one at a time: what each makes, what it costs on our site, and where the maker says it builds. Decor-Rest and Island Living's made-to-order line are built in Canada, while Ashley, La-Z-Boy and Cozzia are imported.
Where to start
Each one carries its own numbers and says where they come from.

Short answers, and the guide behind each
Where is Ashley furniture made?
Ashley's own site puts its manufacturing and distribution centres in two countries, the United States and Vietnam, with none in Canada. Our Ashley pages don't say which plant built a given piece. What that means for a buyer is in where Ashley furniture is made.
Is La-Z-Boy made in Canada?
No. La-Z-Boy is American, and the plants on its own heritage page are in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Mexico, where it has three. How it's priced here, and what its warranty covers, is in La-Z-Boy at Merit.
