A massage chair fits when the shoulder air cells sit on your shoulders, the rollers reach your neck without hitting your skull, and your feet end at the footrest. Height decides the first two. Leg length decides the third, and weight decides whether the chair is rated for you at all.
Cozzia makes all seven massage chairs Merit Home Furniture lists, and its Canadian FAQ puts its models at about 5 ft 2 to 6 ft 3. The same FAQ says "select premium models" reach up to 6 ft 5. It also says "All of our Cozzia chairs can safely hold up to 300 LBS". Six of the cozzia.ca product pages list 320 lb instead. The Radiance is rated for 264 lb.
Where Cozzia's own pages disagree, this guide prints the cautious figure and names the other one. The seven run from $4,199 to $16,549 before applicable taxes, sold through our Duncan store on Vancouver Island.
Which massage chair is best for tall people?
A tall buyer's problem starts at the legs. Past about 6 ft 2, a footrest that ends too soon puts the calf air cells around your ankles. The back rollers can also stop short of your neck and shoulders. At 6 ft even, every one of the seven sits inside Cozzia's published range, so the question only gets hard above that.
Cozzia's Canadian FAQ doesn't say which "select premium models" carry the extended footrest. Its US site names one, the CZ-681, and we don't list that chair. The US site also lists five models with an adjustable footrest length, and none of our seven is among them.
What the cozzia.ca product pages do list is a leg-length feature. Six of the seven name one: the Zen 2, Zen Duo, Qi XE Pro Duo and Quantum say "Auto Leg Length Detectable". The Fusion Pro says "Automatic Leg Length Adjustment" and the Radiance says "Auto Leg Length". The Bliss ProFlex names none. No product page gives a footrest length, or its travel, in inches.
So the strongest Cozzia for a tall person is the one with the most leg adjustment on paper. The Qi XE Pro Duo's leg adjustment adds automatic calf adjustment, and the Quantum's footrest adds automatic knee and calf adjustment. Both run what Cozzia calls a "Long Track Massage from Neck to Buttock". The Quantum's footrest, Cozzia says, "pivots & stretches the foot".
What massage chair is best for a 6-foot-5 man?
At 6 ft 5, a buyer sits at the top of both Cozzia ranges, the Canadian one and the US one of about 5 ft to 6 ft 5. No Cozzia page names one of our seven as built for that height. I would start with the Qi XE Pro Duo and the Quantum, for the leg adjustment above, and settle it in the chair. Above 6 ft 5 no Cozzia figure covers you, and recliners for tall people covers seat depth and legrest length instead.
Cozzia fit numbers for each of the seven chairs
Our listings gave these prices on October 9, 2026, before applicable taxes. Weight, width and the leg features come from each chair's cozzia.ca page. Width is the whole chair, arm to arm on the outside.
| Chair | Price | Weight limit | Width | Legs and feet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Radiance | $4,199 | 264 lb | 30.0 in | Auto leg length |
| Bliss ProFlex | $4,749 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 29.1 in | No leg-length feature listed |
| Fusion Pro | $5,549 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 29.7 in | Auto leg length and calf; pivot footrest |
| Zen 2 | $6,649 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 30 in | Auto leg length detection |
| Zen Duo | $9,799 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 30.7 in | Auto leg length detection |
| Qi XE Pro Duo | $14,349 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 32 in | Auto leg length; auto calf |
| Quantum | $16,549 | 300 lb (page: 320) | 31.8 in | Auto leg length; auto knee and calf; pivoting footrest |
Height isn't in the table because Cozzia gives the same range for every model. The gap between the cheapest and the dearest chair is $12,350, and on paper most of that buys features other than fit.
Massage chairs for short people: what changes under 5 ft 2
A short buyer's problem moves up to the shoulders and down to the feet. The shoulder air cells can land near your ears, and the rollers can begin their pass on the back of your head. Your heels may also hang short of the foot rollers.
Cozzia's Canadian range starts at 5 ft 2, and its US site starts lower, at about 5 ft. Below 5 ft, no Cozzia page offers a figure. Six of the seven product pages list a body scan, which maps your back before a program starts. The Fusion Pro's page doesn't mention one.
The Bliss ProFlex lists no leg-length feature, but it lets you "Adjust backrest and footrest at any desirable position". The Radiance's page lists the same line beside its leg length feature. For a shorter person, those manual settings matter more than any extra program. Short buyers have the most to gain from adjustment and the least published data to go on, which is why the scan alone can't settle it.
Massage chair weight limit: 300 lb or 320 lb?
Cozzia publishes two weight limits for six of its chairs, and they don't match. The cozzia.ca FAQ gives 300 lb for every chair. The product pages for the Bliss ProFlex, Fusion Pro, Zen 2, Zen Duo, Qi XE Pro Duo and Quantum each list "Weight Capacity: 320". Cozzia's US Quantum page repeats the 300 lb FAQ line.
We print 300 lb because it is the lower of Cozzia's own numbers. The Radiance's 264 lb rating is the same on its Canadian and US pages, so there is no conflict to settle there. If your weight falls between 300 and 320 lb, Merit will ask Cozzia for its answer in writing before you buy.
Cozzia's Canadian warranty page doesn't name a weight. It excludes "abuse, misuse", and it doesn't define either word. A chair used over its rated capacity is the kind of case that wording could reach, so at Merit we treat the lower limit as the safe one.
Is there a massage chair for big and tall people in the Cozzia line?
Width is the number a broad-shouldered buyer needs, and Cozzia only publishes the outside of the chair. The seven run from 29.1 in for the Bliss ProFlex to 32 in for the Qi XE Pro Duo. The seat between the arms is narrower, and Cozzia doesn't publish it for any model. If airline seats feel tight, the Qi XE Pro Duo and the Quantum are the widest of the seven.
Massage chairs for recovery after sport or an injury
Recovery after sport or an injury is a fair reason to look at a chair, and a fair place for caution. HealthLink BC says "People use massage to help relax and to relieve pain". It also lists cases where massage isn't a good idea, including a blood clot in a vein and recent surgery.
Cozzia's FAQ says an intense deep tissue massage "should generally not exceed 30 minutes". Every one of the seven product pages lists a 30 minute maximum session. A chair works muscle and won't diagnose anything, so after an injury or an operation, please ask your doctor or physiotherapist before using one. Pacemakers, pregnancy and clotting conditions are covered in who should check with a doctor first.
My rule: anyone under 5 ft 3 or over 6 ft 2, or within 20 lb of a chair's limit, sits in it before we talk price. The chair will run for them. What a spec sheet can't tell me is whether it fits.
Who a Cozzia massage chair won't fit
- Over 300 lb. None of the seven is rated past it on the FAQ, and the Radiance stops at 264 lb.
- Over 6 ft 5. Neither Cozzia site gives a range past that height, for any model.
- Under 5 ft. The US range starts there and the Canadian range starts at 5 ft 2.
- Broad through the hips or shoulders. The seat width between the arms is unpublished, so only sitting in the chair settles it.
- Tall in the leg on the Bliss ProFlex. It is the one chair whose page lists no leg-length feature.
When two people of very different heights will share one chair, buy for whichever of you sits furthest from 5 ft 2 to 6 ft 3.
Trying a Cozzia chair for size from our Duncan store
All seven chairs are sold through Merit's Duncan store, and online sales go through Duncan too. Before you drive, call and give us your height and weight. We'll tell you which chairs are set up that day, so the trip is worth making. Bring the person who will use the chair, and give each one ten minutes.
Merit delivers a chair from Duncan for $150 across the Island, assembly included, and some Gulf Islands are within reach, with the details given by phone from Duncan. Our massage chair guides cover price, doorways and the mechanisms, and all seven chairs with their full specs sit on one page.
