How much does a good massage chair cost? Seven Cozzia prices, delivered on the Island

Cozzia Quantum massage chair in black - Merit Home Furniture

A good massage chair in Canada, one with motorized rollers on a full track, air cells and some heat, starts a little above $4,000 before taxes. At Merit Home Furniture the seven Cozzia chairs run from $4,199 to $16,549, and delivery from our Duncan store is $150 across the Island, assembly included.

A massage chair is a powered recliner with rollers that travel a track behind your back, and air cells that squeeze the arms, hips and legs. The price climbs with the roller mechanism, the number of air cells, the heat zones and the warranty. Below is every massage chair price we list today and what each step up buys.

Listed prices as of October 16, 2026, before applicable taxes. Cozzia's warranty runs 2 years parts and 1 year labour on the first four, 2 and 2 on the Zen Duo, and 3 and 3 on the top two.

Chair Price Rollers
Radiance $4,199 2D
Bliss ProFlex $4,749 Dual 2D
Fusion Pro $5,549 Dual 2D
Zen 2 $6,649 3D
Zen Duo $9,799 Dual 3D
Qi XE Pro Duo $14,349 Dual 4D
Quantum $16,549 5D

Two heat figures in this guide follow Cozzia Canada over our own pages. It lists lumbar heat on the Bliss ProFlex, which our page omits, and 4 heat zones on the Qi XE Pro Duo, where our page says 7.

The top chair costs about four times the bottom one, and the steps are uneven. The Radiance to the Bliss ProFlex is $550 and the Fusion Pro to the Zen 2 is $1,100. The Zen 2 to the Zen Duo is $3,150, the jump where a second mechanism arrives.

How much does a good massage chair cost?

A good massage chair costs roughly $4,000 to $7,000 in our range, which covers the Radiance through the Zen 2. Each of those four has a real roller on a track, at least 18 air cells and heat at the lower back. Spending more past that point buys extra mechanisms and longer labour coverage, which matter most to someone sitting in the chair every day.

Below $4,000 we have no Cozzia chair. The Radiance also carries only 264 lb. Cozzia Canada rates the other six at 320 lb, though our pages print the 300 lb from Cozzia's FAQ. Anyone over 264 lb really starts at $4,749.

Is a massage chair a medical expense in Canada?

A massage chair doesn't appear on the Canada Revenue Agency's page of eligible medical expenses, so plan on paying the full price yourself. If the chair is meant for a back or joint problem, talk to your doctor before buying one.

Fusion Pro or Zen 2: what an extra $1,100 buys

The Fusion Pro and the Zen 2 are close in price and far apart in how they work. Both have foot rollers, body scanning and Bluetooth.

Fusion Pro, $5,549

Two 2D mechanisms, one working the upper back and one lower down, on a two-stage track. Heat at the legs and lumbar, 34 air cells, and a smart dial on the armrest. It needs 11 inches behind it to recline, by our page and Cozzia Canada's.

Zen 2, $6,649

One 3D roller that pushes out up to 3 inches into your back, the first chair in our line that does. Heat at the legs, lower back and seat, 30 air cells, a tablet remote and one-touch zero gravity. It reclines in 6 inches of wall space.

For a small room or deeper pressure, the Zen 2. For gentler rollers and more squeeze from the air cells, the Fusion Pro costs less.

From the showroom floor

If both chairs happen to be set up when you visit, sit in one and then the other on the same program. A gap of $1,100 is easier to judge from the seat than from a spec table.

What the $9,799 to $16,549 massage chairs add

Cozzia Zen 2 massage chair with tablet remote - Merit Home Furniture

The top three prices pay for a second set of rollers under the legs and for more labour coverage. The Zen Duo puts 3D rollers both behind the back and under the calves, with 40 air cells. The Qi XE Pro Duo moves both mechanisms to 4D and has 64 air cells. The Quantum is a 5D chair with 73 airbags, heat from shoulders to feet, and a recline that needs only 1 inch behind it.

Labour coverage is the part of the price that matters on the Island. Cozzia ships warranty parts at no charge. It describes in-home repair as readily available around major metropolitan areas, which Duncan and Port Alberni are not. Merit backs the maker's warranty, orders the parts and does the repairs, so ask us how a claim would run before buying.

The Zen Duo and Qi XE Pro Duo arrive in two boxes, and Cozzia's manuals call for two people to lift them. Our delivery covers the carry in and assembly.

Are massage chairs worth the money for daily use?

A massage chair is worth the money when it gets used most days for years. Over five years of daily use, the Radiance works out to about $2.30 a day and the Quantum to about $9.07, before taxes. That is arithmetic, not a promise of how long any chair lasts.

The cost per session against massage therapy has its own guide. So does what each of the seven chairs suits.

Someone who wants massage mostly at bedtime may not need a chair at all. The Ashley queen adjustable base with head and foot massage is $1,749 and is on display at our Duncan store. It has no rollers, so it is a different thing from any chair above.

What a massage chair price tag leaves out

  • Applicable taxes, which go on top of every figure here.
  • Delivery: $150 across the Island from Duncan, assembly included. Some Gulf Islands can be reached as well, and the ferry fare for our truck is one reason the Duncan store quotes those trips by phone. Campbell River and Port Alberni quote their own delivery.
  • An extended warranty. Ours is SmartOne from Zucora, which covers massage chairs along with everything else we sell.
  • A 24% deposit, if the chair is a special order.
  • A comfort trial. We encourage exchanges up to 30 days, case by case, but there is no money back for simply changing your mind. Sitting in a chair before you pay is the trial that costs nothing.

Fit is another cost at the top of the range. The Qi XE Pro Duo is 32 inches wide, the widest chair we list. Our financing runs through Fairstone®, and what to ask before financing a chair is set out in a separate guide. We finance. Ask us how.*

*On approved credit. Terms and conditions apply. An annual fee will be charged to your account as set out in the Retail Credit Agreement. See our Financing page for more details about our plans.

Every Cozzia we carry is on one page of Cozzia listings. The massage chair guide hub gathers the rest.
